About Natasha

Thank you for looking at my profile!! Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself.

I love hands-on learning experiences and seeking new adventures. I attended San Diego State University and earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies. After I earned my Bachelor's, I entered the teaching environment where I began as a Preschool Teacher for toddlers and pre-kindergarten students for three years. I then became an elementary school science assistant at a private school in Irvine for grades First through Sixth grades and I enjoyed every moment of it. During my time teaching science, I returned to school and earned my teaching credential and student taught in the Newport-Mesa District. I was blessed to have taught First grade as well as numerous long-term substituting assignments. I am currently substituting in the Downey unified school district as well as homeschool students which allows me to have a very flexible schedule for me to tutor your child.

I look forward to helping your child very soon!!

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is to ensure that there is a sense of fun and involvement in the learning process. I enjoy integrating visuals and a hands-on approach when I tutor students. If the learning process is fun and engaging then it will ensure that there is academic success. My ultimate goal when I tutor your child is that they can develop a sense of confidence and success in their schooling so that they can become lifelong learners.
