About Colby
I am a Mechanical Engineer working for a large Aerospace company, and simply have a passion to teach! I have found success in my engineering designs in industry, which involve both commercial and military applications. I see mathematics and physics in every part of society and find it easier to understand when it is seen that way. With a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M, and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the same school, I have an interest in both classical and nuclear physics, in mathematics, and thermal fluids.

I teach Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra as I have seen these bee challenging for some but extremely useful in life. I utilize a custom, student specific lesson method so my students get the most out of their time with me. I provide general concepts, detailed methods, examples demonstrating the same, and real world application practice. Mathematics is everywhere and easy to understand, sometimes it just takes someone to help you see it!

Perfect! Colby is very knowledgeable about the subject matter. I'm taking Calculus 2 and he does a great job of explaining things and stops to ensure I understand the steps before proceeding to complete problems.
