About Abigail
I’m a TEFL-qualified English tutor from South Africa with a genuine love for connecting with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy travelling, spending time outdoors, and discovering new places and experiences. I bring this curiosity into my lessons by encouraging students to share their own experiences, interests, and perspectives.
I’m a friendly and approachable person, and I enjoy creating meaningful conversations with my students. My goal is not only to help you improve your English, but also to make each lesson something you can look forward to.

My approach to private tutoring is calm, relaxed, and student-centred. I believe that mistakes are a natural and important part of learning, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and building their confidence without fear of getting things wrong.
My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, interests, learning style, and current level. Depending on your needs, lessons can focus on conversational English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, or improving overall fluency. I aim to make lessons practical and engaging by using real-life topics and situations that are relevant to you.
