About Benjamin
I have learned Spanish to near-fluency, and I am beginning Nepali this year. Because of my experience, I know how difficult it is to learn a language, especially English. I have been a teacher in many different ways for many years, so I love to see new students learn and grow in this skill. Learning a language is very difficult, so it is nice to have someone help guide you!

I like to let the student decide how strict or laid back the lessons are.
I use current English-world news and culture to help explain the context of words and phrases. For vocabulary, I like to explain root words, prefixes, and suffixes to help the student predict the meaning of unfamiliar words.
A typical lesson will include vocabulary, grammar, real-world context, and activities.
I teach only adults, but I will teach to a student of any level for whatever their goals may be, whether it is business English for a business trip, improving on conversation, just learning a few phrases for a vacation, or anything more!
