About Vanessa
My name is Vanessa Kazie. I am a native English speaker from South Africa.
I am a certified TEFL tutor and have 2 months online English teaching experience. I also have 7 months experience in assisting kids around my area with Maths and English. I focus on students from 6 - 14 years old. I help them to better understand the current school curriculum they are vusy with. We also focus on reading, grammar, spelling and vocabulary. We practice their maths problems and I also assist them in preparing for tests and exams.
I love tutoring because it enables me to share my knowledge with others. I especially love tutoring children because I am patient and it fills my heart with pride knowing that I'm contributing in shapping their future.

My lessons focus on improving students speaking through conversations lessons. I teach grammar and focus on vocabulary. Reading is the core of my lessons where my focus is on spelling and pronunciation. We identify new words and focus in them by looking up the meaning and building new sentences. I provide homework after each lesson so that student can revise on the work we have done.
