About Eve
As a kid I always loved learning how the world worked. I loved books and art and film. But I didn't much enjoy school. It was only through returning to education as an adult and experiencing work as a teacher that I came to really relish everything that learning has to offer.
As a teacher, I want to create an environment that is fun and dynamic and molded around the student's skillsets and interests. Speaking another language is such an important skill to have in your arsenal and I want to help build your confidence in grammar and conversational English.

My English as a foreign language lessons can be tailored to what works best for you. Previous exercises I’ve done have been writing short stories based on a prompt and correcting the grammar together, summarising short videos and texts in English, doing role-play of real-life scenarios or just having a fun chat where you can tell me about your culture and interests. At this time these lessons are just for adults who have at least a conversational knowledge of English.
For secondary school and A-level English literature and language students, together we can work through breakdowns of your assigned texts, as well as find new ways of approaching the material.
Both types of lessons can be the length that suits you the best, from between 30 minutes to an hour long.
