About Tori
I’m a dedicated and reliable teen tutor who is passionate about helping students succeed in Algebra. I take tutoring seriously and always come prepared, organized, and ready to help students understand their work. My goal is to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through challenging problems.

Teaching Method & Techniques
My approach focuses on making Algebra simple and understandable. I break down problems step-by-step and explain the reasoning behind each step so students learn why something works, not just how to do it. I use practice problems, visual examples, and real-life connections to help students fully understand the concept. I also encourage students to ask questions and work through problems with me so they build confidence and independence.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson starts with quickly reviewing any homework questions or topics the student is struggling with. Then I explain the concept in a clear, simple way and show a few example problems. After that, the student works through practice problems while I guide them and help correct mistakes. We finish with a short recap of the main idea and tips for solving similar problems in the future.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
As a teen tutor, I understand the challenges students face in math because I recently learned the material myself.
