About Chante
My name is Chanté. I started teaching piano at a school from 2015. I’ve really enjoyed working with all age groups and backgrounds. I would like to teach piano online because my circumstances don’t allow me to teach in person at the moment. I have taught piano online before during Covid 19 and I found it enjoyable. I love teaching piano and seeing how each person learns to play piano in their own way. I hope to share my love of playing with people that want to learn.

I like to adapt my teaching approach to each student. Depending on the reason why the student is learning also influences my teaching approach. I like to focus on all aspects of learning piano, these include:
• Sight Reading
• Learning by rote
• Technique
• Aural (training your ear for music)
• Theory
• I encourage learning all types of music such as pop, classical, jazz etc…
• I like to also focus on how to make the learning experience more enjoyable and easy to understand
