About Carla
I am a singer both in musical theatre as well as a background in classical singing. I have been performing for many years and I am now teaching others what I have learnt and tutoring students through graded exams. I have both teaching and performance experience and have obtained grades in both classical and musical theatre.

My teaching methodology is tailored to each individual student as I believe no two people learn in the same way. I base lessons on what each student needs to focus on, using a range of creative methods for learning. Proper singing technique should be accessible to all and singing has such a huge benefit on our health. Therefore I believe it is important to teach singing techniques whilst having fun at the same time.
I prepare students for musical theatre singing grades and cover topics such as:
- posture and breathing
- the importance of warm-up's
- vocal health
- acting through song
- singing techniques
- performance anxiety
-stage presence and getting prepared for auditions, graded exams or any other performances.
I feel singing lessons and singing with the right technique should be accessible for all and therefore students can learn from the comfort of their own homes, or can have face to face lessons once government restrictions have lifted.
Appropriate for all ages and levels.
