About Aidan
I am Aidan, a 17 yo Alevel pupil from southend on sea. I achieved twelve 9s in the GCSE, have plenty of experience in competitive maths, being invited into the maclaurin and the british maths olympiad in y11 and y12 respectively. I am studying maths and further maths and 3 other subjects for my Alevels. Since I finished GCSEs not so long ago, I think I would be more skilled in teaching GCSE maths content than university students for example since I am fluent with the question style and have the exam strategies fresh in my mind.
I want to teach in Superprof as I can write about it in my applications :) but of course, I also want to teach as I have been mentoring other pupils for quite some time and found it enjoyable.

Lesson plan:
1. Beginning: Going through errors from homework set prior.
2. Middle: Lecture based teaching. Goes through a maths topic of interest using a series of guided example questions to ensure conceptual understanding.
3. Testing: Allowing the student to do a few questions to consolidate understanding.
4. Practice: Setting the major exercise task to do privately to not waste precious lesson time. Student can contact to ask for help any time they wish.
