About Sumayah
Hi, my name is Sumayah and I am a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant, as well as a full time English and History undergraduate at the University of Sheffield. I am passionate about the English subject and sharing my own knowledge with others. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing and anything creative.
I have experience working within a primary school setting, specifically in Early Years and Year 1 classes. I have also recently worked in a nursery part time and have tutored children from the ages of five to eleven at home.
I tutor English and Maths at a primary level (up to KS3.) My approach to teaching is making sure the subject I am delivering is being understood and enjoyed- I believe children learn better when they can understand the subject and are keen to learn through their own choice.
