About Ethel
I am very easy-going, and our classes don't have to be formal if you don't want to! We can just have a conversation to practice your speaking skills while we share a warm drink and we talk about shows, movies or current affairs.
As a recent graduate of the degree in Modern Languages, Culture and Communication, I am seeking to expand my working experience abroad. While I am currently working as a part-time Spanish Language Assistant, I want to continue helping students with their language learning (whether it is English or Spanish) by offering private lessons as a freelance online tutor. I am able to adapt myself and my lessons to the needs of every student, while always focusing on being Patient, Inclusive and Creative.

My teaching methodology consists of explaining the theory of the language in relation to the culture and more up-to-date events in order to make the lessons more entertaining, creative and relatable. In addition, not only am I able to adapt the lessons to the different levels of the students, but also I love creating my own materials, especially after learning what the student likes/dislikes. Being a second language speaker myself, I know the struggle and difficulty learning a new language might be. Because of that, I am able to be as patient, empathic and flexible as needed.
