About Emily
I am currently in my teaching program at UBC for elementary and middle years. I have worked as an education assistant in the school system for over three years and I am passionate about helping students learn. I believe building a strong relationship with the student is important for learning and cannot be underestimated. When working with me, I hope to help you feel supported, confidence, and energized about learning!

I love to have fun while teaching and will try to make the experience enjoyable while you learn! I like to practice help student with the retrieval of information and building connections with personal experiences for learning.
We will:
- talk about what we worked on last session
- go through areas of difficulty
- review practise problems
- engage in a fun activity for all the hardwork
I am particularly interested in helping students in grades kindergarten to grade 7 in all subject levels, but flexible to work with high school years as well.
