About Yek
I am a gap-year student with 2+ years of tutoring experience, with students of a wide range of ages and needs, from KS1 to A-Level. I love to teach, and it is by far my favourite job I have ever had, especially due to the visible positive impact it has on students' educational and personal lives. When I was a student myself, receiving great tutoring fostered more confidence in my academics, so I know how crucial and helpful tutoring can be! My mission is to extend that favour to other people. I am organised, punctual, and will always have a tailored lesson plan prepared for you, so that you can make the absolute most of our session together. I also have access to exclusive revision resources for A-Level, which I partially curated myself. These helped me achieve the top grades in my exams, and I know they will for you too.

I teach chemistry from KS3 to A-Level! My lessons focus on exam technique and understanding, which is the best approach when trying to reach top marks in the exams. This approach is what gave me success in my A-Levels, allowing me to get all A*s and As. I use exclusive revision resources that I made and used as an A-Level Chemistry student. These use application of chemistry content knowledge to unique questions and scenarios, ensuring all content knowledge is consolidated to the highest level. I have 2+ years of tutoring experience of a wide range of ages and learning needs of students, including learning difficulties. I am patient, friendly, and diligent, and have a genuine passion for teaching, which of course has a positive impact on my lessons and students' progress!
