About Mayra
I am a dedicated and committed teacher that loves and believes in the goods of her profession. Teachers have been angels to me throughout my life and I'm always grateful for having such wonderful human beings around. Once a teacher said: Teachers would not be teachers if they didn't think they have something to share with the world. That is totally true.
I am a truly believer that we can learn everything we want! I love to encourage students to reach their full potential and to believe in themselves.
On the other hand, learning a second language has transformed my perspective of the world and has opened to me the most amazing opportunities, so I'll always encourage you to keep learning another language.
Fun facts: I am Mexican and I don't like spicy food.

I work with 45 min sessions. I truly believe that learning a 2nd language should be fun, so my approach is very playful. I teach through play, practice and problem solving. Depending on your language of interest, you'll be listening to it 100% during the lesson.
Although I am a preschool teacher, I am well qualified to teach people from all ages. In fact, my experience as a preschool teacher help my tutoring to be more dynamic and fun.
If you want to learn, go for it! I also work within the growth mindset approach in which you don't have to worry about making mistakes! Mistakes are great and help us learn and grow!
