About Anne
I am a certified teacher with 14 years of classroom experience. I have taught 6th-12th grades. Subjects I have taught are general middle school sciences, biology (all levels-general, college prep, honors, and AP). I have also taught integrated science and nutritional science.
I am also a dental hygienist so I am able to bring my experiences as a health care provider in the classroom.
I am married and a mother of two grown children.
I stress engagement and connections to the real world as a way to learn and grow.

My online group lessons typically start with 30 minutes of test prep/ study skill and problem solving skills. The last 30 minutes involve generalized biology content. This is twice a week. Once a week I have a one-on-one call for anyone needing extra support with content, test, and/or projects. I also supply resources to my students to use and encourage communication with parents.
