My methodology with children, since I have been a scout monitor for several years, is based on the playful component of teaching, trying to make students learn while having fun through challenges, games, or jokes, without forgetting the didactic nature, because with these methods the students get involved in the activities and participate in them. On the other hand, for adult teaching, I rely more on practical teaching, conversation, reading, doing exercises in order to assimilate the concepts of English and make them become mechanical.
