I have been a classroom teacher for more than 10 years. In that time I have likely taught over 1000 students! I am fully qualified with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and I receive regular training at the secondary school where I currently work. I teach English Language and Literature at Key Stage 3 and 4 (GCSE) levels. I teach the AQA specification. I have taught the following texts at GCSE level: 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde', 'An Inspector Calls', 'A Christmas Carol', 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Macbeth', 'Power and Conflict' anthology poetry and unseen poetry. A typical lesson would last for approximately 1 hour. However, this is flexible depending on the needs of the student.
