About Amanda
Hi,
My name is Amanda, and I hold a Bachelor of Teaching (Degree) from Newcastle University NSW. I have over 10 years experience teaching children of all different ages, including teaching children with additional needs. Recently I completed an associate Degree In (MSL) multisensory structured language through the Australian Dyslexic association which supports childrens literacy skill development and helps them understand the structure of Language.

My Teaching method is to simplify early reading and writing skills by teaching the basic structure of Language, and how and why words are spelt the way they are. I use a multisensory approach to this to support memory and create new pathways of learning to the brain.
