About Donald
I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace. I have over twenty-five years' experience as an engineer, and over four years' experience as a teacher/tutor. I have helped students raise their ACT scores by an average of four points in both math and science, and SAT scores by twenty points. I have taught classrooms filled with forty students, and regularly tutor 1-3 students at a time. My students range in age from preschool up to 30 years old.

My approach is to start with the student's most challenging question. In this way, I try to increase the student's confidence level, so that he/she feels more comfortable taking on lesser challenges, and hopefully needs less guidance. I also encourage the use of mnemonics--hints, rhymes, or shortcuts, to help the student with those hard-to-remember details.
