About Carla
Hi! I am Carla and I am a first year Imperial College London student studying Medical Biosciences. I completed my A-Levels last year in Maths, Biology and Chemistry A-Levels and achieved 3 A*s. I'm very familiar with the revision strategies and exam techniques needed to succeed at GCSE and A-Level, as I improved my Chemistry grade from a D to an A* in just 4 months. I'm more than happy to help build confidence, strengthen understanding and consolidate exam-style answers, no matter your current level.

My teaching focuses on logical learning and helping students understand topics like a story, so concepts make sense rather than feeling like information to memorise. Once the core understanding is built, I use plenty of exam-style questions to help students apply their knowledge and become confident with exam technique. Lessons typically last 1-2 hours. I have several years of experience tutoring family friends for GCSE and A-Level subjects.
