About JIAYI
In my class, you will learn Chinese by doing, gain the confidence to speak, and become truly fluent through practice.
As I'm also a researcher in bilingualism, I enjoy teaching Chinese as it allows me to connect with learners while also gaining valuable feedback to support my future research in bilingual language acquisition and pedagogy.

PhD degree holder in Applied Linguistics and Educational linguistics at UNSW, master's degree in TESOL at UCL and bachelor's degree in education in China. I had 5-year teaching experience in languages and I'm currently teaching at university as a tutor.
My classes are flexible and can be adjusted based on class size and individual needs. Lessons are practice-focused and incorporate games to enhance engagement and learning.
