About Alexandra
I graduated in 2020 with an ATAR of 98.05, with HSC mark of 96/100 for Advanced Mathematics. I am currently studying a double degree of Material Science and Biomedical Engineering at UNSW and have experience tutoring high school students between Y9-Y11.

My teaching method is systematic and practical. First I decide whether a student needs to build on foundations or should be pushed ahead. Foundation building involves going through the syllabus points in a basic and accessible way, then working towards more difficult examples and concepts. Students that already have an established foundation can be pushed to go further than their class by getting ahead, leaving more time for future study before assessments. Both methods involve having a great understanding of concepts and how to apply these concepts to a variety of question forms.
