I can’t say enough good things about Yueching! We first met Yueching through ASU’s String Project 3 years ago and my daughters have continued to take private violin and cello lessons ever since. With Yueching’s instruction, my daughters have earned solos and even a first-chair position in their school and school district orchestras. We recently learned that my freshman earned a spot in her high school’s Chamber Orchestra, the orchestra with the highest level of skills in her school. I am convinced this is a direct result of Yueching’s teaching and mentorship. She is very patient, encouraging, and communicates well.

I found Ms. Yueching Ting through a search for a suzuki teacher. My son was only 5 years old when he started lessons with her so it was important for us to find someone that worked well with children. She has been great working with our son and in a short amount of time his confidence, technique (correct bow hold/correct wrist position etc), and overall playing ability has increased substantially. My son was able to perform for a recital and was so happy to showcase what he learned. Ms. Yueching is so patient and knows how to redirect learning when needed. My son is very active and she makes the lessons interactive and fun for him where he wants to practice and get better. I am so lucky to have found such a caring, talented, patient, and professional teacher for my son.

I hired Yueching to teach in our community music program, the ASU String Project, while she was working on her bachelor’s degree in violin performance for the past four years. The students and their parents loved working with her because she is patient and encouraging, and helped them learn new playing skills. Yueching has excellent skills for teaching violin and viola students at all levels, from beginning to very advanced, and for teaching beginning and intermediate cellists.

Yueching is a great teacher! She incorporates a very personalized structure in her lessons and always gives clear expectations and goals for the next lesson. She is a very kind and patient teacher who would work well with anyone!
