About Skylar
I am a chess tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching students of all levels. My lessons focus on developing strategy, tactical awareness, and board vision through interactive exercises and games.
Students explore openings, middlegame plans, and endgame strategies in practical, hands-on lessons. I emphasise pattern recognition, foresight, and creative problem-solving. Lessons also include famous games and historical matches.
I work with beginners, casual players, and competitive enthusiasts. Lessons are supportive, fun, and goal-oriented. Students gain confidence, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Through puzzles, online games, and scenario exercises, learners sharpen their skills effectively. I focus on teaching how to plan moves ahead and evaluate positions accurately. Chess becomes both intellectually stimulating and enjoyable.
