About Paulina
My name is Paulina and I have just graduated from UCL, where I studied BA French and Polish. I have been passionate about maths and languages since a very young age. I have completed GCSE and A-Level exams in Polish, French as well as maths in which I have achieved grades A*, A*, A respectively. In 2024, I graduated from University College London (UCL) where I studied BA French and Polish. In September, I will be going back to UCL to start my Master's degree which will also be in the field of languages. As part of my degree, I have completed a year abroad. I spent over 6 months in Montpellier, South of France where I studied at Paul Valery Montpellier III. There, all of our lectures and end of semester exams were in French, all of which I had passed. The second half of my year abroad, I spent in Kraków, Poland at the Jagiellonian University. In May 2025, I have passed the CIOL professional interpreting and translating French and Polish exams (just to give a little idea of my level of spoken and written levels of the two languages).

My name is Paulina and I have just graduated from UCL, where I studied BA French and Polish. I have several years of experience in tutoring. I specialise in languages, mathematics and also offer tuition for those who need help learning English as a second language. I have over 300 hours of tutoring experience, whether that is in-person or online. In the past, I have taught students of all ages, the youngest being 7 years old and the oldest being adult students who are trying to extend their language knowledge. Over the last couple of years, I have helped many students achieve their target grades in both GCSEs and A-Levels. All my students have gone on to achieve grades 6 and above in their exams. My tuition style differs per the needs of each individual student however, I try to keep my lessons as interactive and fun as possible, creating an interpersonal atmosphere where no question is a stupid or silly one! I aim to build a professional yet friendly relationship with each student so that these lessons are never something they have to dread. I can offer help with homework as well as using and creating my own resources. Additionally, I often tend to use past papers and exam resources to put the students' knowledge to the test and identify areas of improvement.
