About Caitlin
With a BSc in Mathematical Sciences and more than 2 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in making calculus both accessible and engaging. My teaching covers derivatives, integrals, and differential equations, often breaking them down into simple, logical steps. Many students struggle with these concepts, but my methods aim to turn frustration into clarity. I use interactive simulations to show how math works beyond the classroom. Real-world applications are central to my lessons, especially for STEM majors and aspiring engineers. Students learn how calculus connects to innovation, design, and technology. I emphasize structured practice and consistent feedback to support steady progress. My teaching is adaptive, tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. Over the years, I have seen students grow in confidence and problem-solving skills. I aim to make calculus not just a requirement, but a skill that inspires curiosity. Success in mathematics is about building both knowledge and mindset. I welcome students to explore calculus with me and unlock new dimensions of analytical thinking.

The focus of my teaching is preparation with purpose. I guide students through math topics that appear in SAT, GRE, and GMAT. I explain concepts in simple steps and then move to practice. Targeted drills help strengthen weak areas quickly. Timed exercises are included to simulate real exam conditions. I highlight common pitfalls and teach methods to avoid them. Students also learn how to handle pressure without panic. Practice tests are a key part of my approach. They show progress while building stamina for exam day. Feedback is always detailed and practical. I teach not only math skills but also test-taking strategies. Confidence grows as students practice more effectively. Every session is about building speed, accuracy, and readiness. The goal is to prepare learners thoroughly for high scores.
