About Dayna
I have over 3 years of professional experience tutoring English reading/writing in peer mentor and teaching assistant positions at the college level. In high school, I was in charge of helping ESL students make their essays clear and readable before submission. Since I was placed into the gifted reading/writing class at 6, I have been tutoring and teaching English. As for non-professional experience (if that matters to you), I am the de facto friend/family member for all things written, whether that’s resumes or essays, lol.

Hey there!
My goal to foster deep thinkers, analytical readers, and expressive writers in everyone I teach.
I tutor ages 8+ (yes, including adults!) and emphasize thoughtful, thorough conversation about reading/writing in all my lessons.
I like to focus on finding skills that need improvement, and growing them through practical application and discussion alongside editing assignments and resumes, so that improvements are understood rather than just done.
