I can't recommend Tim enough as a tutor! We met a few years ago in an online forum and soon Tim was guiding me gently and with many laughs through the perils of fiction writing. He's intuitive and kind, wickedly funny, extremely knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects, and about the best teacher I've ever met. The most impressive thing about working with him might be his lack of ego. Without pride in the way it's easy to connect and work together, which I think is why he loves to teach and why it's a pleasure to learn under his tutorage–it's a collaborative process where everyone benefits.

Tim has been my mentor for the past 8 months and during that time I have learned how to outline a plot, have written my first novel and learned a variety of editing techniques. Tim has guided my exploration of book marketing techniques and been an invaluable source or support and encouragement. Tim coached one of my team members on tightening his prose. The team member has raw talent. He was intrigued but a bit resistant to outside coaching. Tim first understood the current skillset, then through a series of exercises, some unconventional, Tim took that raw talent and helped this team member realize his potential - utter excellence. In this case, Tim essentially taught the writer how to tighten prose and get to the point, something we can probably all learn! Bravo!
