About Maria
I am a Substitute Teacher with a BA degree in Liberal Studies. I was a Teacher's Aide and tutor for 6 years while going to school. I've also taught preschool. I've recently published poetry in a local paper called "Community Alliance."

Empathetic English Tutor
I tutor English to mostly K-12 students in Fresno, CA. I usually tutor grammar, writing, creative writing, & reading,
My BA degree is in Liberal Studies.
My teaching method is to first asses the student’s area of need. Depending on the need, I create strategies to help support and strengthen the area of need. I also believe that having fun is part of learning.
