About Brian
Hi, I'm Brian, and I'm completing my Master of Music (Performance) degree at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, studying with Professor Konstantin Shamray. I began piano lessons at the age of six, studying with Prof. David Lockett AM on a single-study scholarship from age eight at the University of Adelaide. In 2015, I was offered a full scholarship place at the renowned Purcell School in London, where I studied with Patsy Toh and later received a British Government scholarship to support my music studies. I’m looking to take on 6-7 students in my private studio. Send me a text message if you’re interested! I have spent many years studying under some of the finest teachers: Emiratis Professor David Lockett at the University of Adelaide, Patsy Toh from the Royal Academy of Music in London, and Glenn Riddle at the University of Melbourne. Recently, I began lessons with Konstantin Shamray, further enriching my experience. Learning from these foremost teachers has equipped me with a strong foundation in both skill and teaching methods. I’ve started working with beginners and am pleased to see my students grasp key concepts quickly. Perfect! Brian is a very patient and experienced piano teacher, he has helped me with lots of techniques in the music pieces, with his explanation and demonstration, the hard parts become easier, and more flowing, I would highly recommended Brian, whether you are beginner or advance, young or adult, he is the best piano teacher.
