About Harleen
Hi, I’m Harleen! I’m a friendly and approachable tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident in their schoolwork. I have experience tutoring students from Prep to Year 12, both online and in person, and have worked with students with a range of different learning needs.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I try to make my lessons comfortable and suited to the individual student. I’m patient, encouraging and always happy to explain something in a different way if it isn’t making sense.
I really enjoy getting to know my students and seeing their confidence grow over time. My goal is to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and aren’t afraid to make mistakes.

I tutor students from Prep to Year 12 and try to make my lessons feel relaxed and comfortable, while still helping students make real progress.
I like to get to know how each student learns and change my approach depending on what works for them. If a student doesn’t understand something one way, I’ll explain it differently, use examples, or work through questions with them until it makes sense. I also encourage students to talk through their thinking and feel comfortable telling me when they’re confused or struggling.
Lessons are usually around 1 hour, but this can depend on the student's age and what they need.
I have experience tutoring Prep–Year 12 students both online and in person and have tutored more than 20 students. I have also worked with students with autism, ADHD and speech difficulties.
I really enjoy tutoring and seeing students become more confident in subjects they may have initially found difficult.
