About Roisin
I am currently studying a master's in physics at UCL, and aim to continue to get a PhD in this field. I really enjoy maths, physics and chemistry and have tutored many people in these subjects thus far. I can really relate to finding maths and science daunting and overwhelming at first - but they don’t have to be! This is why I’m determined to teach these subjects because sometimes the way they’re taught at school doesn’t work for everyone and lacks the perspective of being a school student. I hope to help people enjoy learning about these fields and feel confident in their ability.

Having gone through these myself, I recognise that GCSE and A level exams are really stressful and can be very overwhelming. This makes it a top priority for me to tailor lessons to each individual student’s needs. Whether that be to teach students topics from scratch, go through any grey areas or to go through past paper questions I want to do what’s best for you. If you don’t know where to start that's okay too! We can work through content together to see if there are any gaps in understanding to make you more confident.

Explains everything really clearly and has a lot of patience and good energy!
Róisín is such a fantastic tutor. I was really struggling with Chemistry and Physics GCSE and she completely broke everything down so that I understood each topic. Going over practice papers with her was such a big help. I’m Really grateful to have found her!!
Super teacher, helped me a lot
Roisin supported my daughter through her maths GCSE and was a huge help! Before working with Roisin, my daughter was achieving grade 6s but was aiming higher. Roisin was really supportive and worked with her to understand the difficult concepts and improve her exam technique. She ended up getting a level 8 which we were all thrilled with!
