About Kasra
My name is Kasra and in my time at school, I have come to realise that the best advice you can take when it comes to maths is from someone who has recently sat the exam and knows how it works. I sat my gcse’s in 2022 and sat my A levels in 2024 so I am easily able to recall all the stress about sitting exams and the preparation for it, however I am also someone who is able to share tips and tricks that work in these modern day exams. I have always believed that the most satisfying part of maths is finally understanding a topic that simply never clicked, and I am here to try make all my students feel this relief and satisfaction many times. It has always brought me great pleasure to help my classmates and I even volunteered to tutor a student 2 years below in my school for his maths gcse (in which he achieved a grade 9) and ever since then, I felt extremely accomplished and I’m sure he did too. This inspired me to take on the role of tutoring and I hope to repeat this feeling numerous times throughout my life.

I will be able to break down the sort of approach the student takes in order to answer a question and adapt my way of explaining questions in order to suit the student. I would pinpoint the student’s weakness and spend as long as it takes to make sure the student understands to the maximum. I have many practice questions on all the topics prepared for the student to tackle and in maths, this is always the key to success.
