I enjoy teaching as I view it as one of the most important jobs in the world. The way a teacher approaches a lesson really influences how the students respond. I aim to be a positive, motivated and supportive educator while encouraging confidence, independence and accountability.

Students typically view maths in a negative manner but what they don’t realise is that they use maths all the time in their everyday life. They complete algorithms, use geometry and so much more without even thinking about it. So my approach towards mathematics is to help the students understand how competent they are as learners and increase the confidence whilst teaching the core concepts needed.
