About Stacey
I’m currently studying Biology in college at DCU and have a strong interest in the subject. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and have experience helping with Junior Cycle Science, Junior Cert Music classes, and informal crochet classes, which has given me a good understanding of different learning styles.
I know science can feel overwhelming, so I aim to make Biology more straightforward and less intimidating. I focus on building confidence and helping students actually understand the material, not just learn it off.
I operate over Zoom for lessons and can also create tailored worksheets to help students practice and revise outside of sessions.

I start by figuring out where each student is at, what they’re confident with and what they’re finding difficult. From there, I focus on the areas they struggle with, breaking things down so they actually understand the material instead of just memorizing it.
Once they’re more comfortable with the topic, I move on to exam-style questions to help them apply what they’ve learned and get used to how questions are asked, so they feel more prepared going into exams.
