About Ilaria
Currently graduating from La Sapienza University of Rome for the Chinese language curriculum. June 2019 graduated at Beijing Foreign Studies University (北京 外国语 大学) after spending a period of 11 months in Beijing. In July 2019 I obtained the HSK 5 certification, equivalent to the C1 level of the common European reference framework for the knowledge of foreign languages.

I give Chinese language lessons for HSK levels 1 to 5, respectively A1 to C1. We deal with the Chinese language in toto: comprehension and production both oral and written. For students starting from 0, lessons will be divided into 3 steps: Step 1 PRONUNCIATION. The student learns the basic tones and rules for reading Chinese characters. Step 2 READING. The student learns to read and contextualize the first sentences from the understanding of short dialogues on presentations and / or greetings. Step 3 WRITING. The student learns the rules for writing Chinese characters and a short list of words to memorize is given. After the first 3 steps the lessons will take place according to the increasingly complex dialogues and the consequent expansion of the student's vocabulary, exercised through oral exercises. For students who DO NOT start from 0, the first lesson will be used for a verification of knowledge, therefore the methodology will be agreed on the basis of the student's level and his aims. I could also give lessons for specific topics and / or preparation for HSK exams. In a short time the student will be able to present himself, describe his family and interests, have conversations with native speakers, produce and read texts of medium difficulty. I provide the digital copy of the reference manual, necessary for studying and practicing.
