I follow a very methodological format of learning. I believe in setting specific, achievable goals and working accordingly to attain those goals. It is important for me to understand what level a student is at before starting, then incorporating learning techniques suited to individuals' style (visual learning by drawing diagrams, or flashcard reviews for memorization).
A typical lesson plan would involve an overview of the main topic, discussing each of the sub-topics, then having a quiz session to test students' understanding, and finally an in-depth discussion of the questions and answers.
My lessons are for students from 7th grade - 12th grade in Biology, Chemistry, and English (essay writing/editing). I can tutor students from 8th grade - 10th grade in Mathematics (specifically algebra, trigonometry, and geometry).
