About Ashna
I am an enthusiastic 16-year-old student who has recently finished her GCSE exams at the Lady Eleanor Holles School. I was awarded a 9 in Mathematics(Edexcel) and an A in Further Maths(OCR, level 3 qualification). I have a strong passion for maths, even outside of the curriculum, having competed in many competitions, such as the Primary Mathematics Challenge and the Intermediate Maths Challenge. I would be willing to provide training for these as well. I would love to pass on my excitement for this subject to younger students in primary school as well as those doing the 11+ exams, as I have been in both of those situations before and know what kind of work would be useful at that age.

As I am still currently being taught in school, I have a decent grasp of which teaching techniques work for different kinds of students and which ones are more effective than others. I am able to act as just an aid to my students if they wish, by explaining specific concepts or questions that they need a better understanding of, or I can give an overview of whole topics and use step by step methods to make sure students know exactly what to do and why it is done. I am very patient and am willing to explain concepts in many different ways until students have a good grasp of them.
