I am a hardworking, committed and patient student. Having had to revise hard for my GCSE exams recently, I have a good understanding of methods that can help information stay in your memory, and I am a firm believer in active learning. I am friendly and eager to support and encourage younger students as they learn.

I will teach students in an active manner to ensure that this information will stick in their memories, so that they can progress in the future. I will do this by going through a difficult topic, suggested by the student, and consolidate their learning by going through practice questions with them. I can teach primary school to year 8 in maths and years 7-9 in chemistry. The lessons will typically last an hour. I have previous experience working with younger children as I interact with primary school students on a weekly basis due to a partnerships programme my school has with local schools. I attend Haberdashers' Girls' School and have recently completed my GCSEs - having been predicted A*s in maths and chemistry.
