About Toby
Outside of my studies, I enjoy mathematics and the challenge of my degree. When I’m not studying, I spend time looking after my koi pond, which is a hobby I have enjoyed for several years, and I regularly go to the gym. I like keeping a good balance between studying and other interests.

I am currently studying Mathematics at the University of Warwick, having recently completed my first year. I teach one-to-one online lessons using an online Whiteboard, with sessions typically lasting one hour.
I achieved A* grades in A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics, as well as a Grade 1 in STEP II. While at school, I helped run the maths homework club, supporting students with a range of abilities and gaining experience explaining difficult concepts in different ways.
I currently tutor A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. I tailor each lesson to each student’s goals and learning style, whether they’re aiming to build confidence, improve their grades, or prepare for university entrance exams. My aim is to develop a strong understanding of the subject alongside effective exam technique in a friendly and supportive environment.
