About Ishaan
My name's Ishaan and I am a first year student studying at UCL. I am a friendly and reliable Maths tutor with experience studying Maths, Physics and Further Maths at A level. I explain difficult topics in a simple, step-by-step way and adapt each lesson to the student’s confidence and ability. My aim is to help students improve their understanding, exam technique and overall confidence.

I believe the key to success is practice. I believe that understanding the content is one aspect which I can confidently do but moving from those Bs and As to those As and A*s is to be able to apply the knowledge you have learnt to questions. This is where I stand out as I personally experienced this and know how to overcome this.
My 1 hour classes will cover as much as what the student is struggling with and if they do not know themselves where the stem of the problem is then it is my job to find it.
I am happy to mark work outside of lesson time for no additional charge as well.
