Celine tutored my nephew during his time in Year 2; this was in preparation for his KS1 SATs. She tutored him in maths, reading comprehension, spelling, punctuation and grammar. Throughout, Celine remained highly committed to ensuring he made both academic and personal progress. Celine knew exactly how to encourage and motivate my nephew in order to reach his full potential by tailoring the sessions to his needs and strengths; this helped him to have a deeper understanding of concepts being taught. She instilled a love for learning by creating well-structured, engaging sessions which my nephew looked forward to attending.

Celine is a committed, thoughtful and creative teacher, who will go above and beyond for the needs of the pupils she teaches. Whilst working with me in Year 6 as a teaching assistant, she showed a complete desire to provide the children with a rigorous curriculum and understanding of Maths, Reading and Writing. She worked with groups of up to 10 children at a time providing them with extra support to achieve their required SATs results, but also worked with children one-to-one. An individual quality that really stood out to me was her ability to inspire children to write fictional stories that were well above their ability by taking them on the journey with her. She was also an inspiring reader and willed many of the children to become enthusiastic about their reading too. I know that with Celine as a tutor any child would excel above and beyond their capabilities and go on to accomplish many great achievements.
