About Alasdair
I am a student at York University and I understand the value of understanding concepts in science in order to succeed in exam, but also to continue to learn at higher levels.
I have experience working with people to learn, and I have coached many of my peers through difficult topics in A-level science and maths.
Because of my current studies, my maths and physics ability is the best it has ever been.

I aim to teach students to build understanding of concepts rather than attempting to cram facts for an exam. Students should build strong foundational knowledge in order to tackle more advanced topics.
I will teach lesson from 1-2 hours, any longer than this is too long to be well focused for most students.
As an A-level student I tutored younger students in my school studying GCSEs. I've also been through 1 on 1 tutoring myself, when did my French GCSE independent from my school.
My lessons are for students 12-18yrs (up to A-level).
