About Mya
I am a student at the University of Oxford studying Neuroscience. I find great fulfilment in teaching and helping people achieve their goals, with over three years tutoring experience. Through a passion for learning, I will become invested in your journey and my teaching style will reflect this. My tutoring involves creative and individualised methods to facilitate learning. My starting point is to establish how best you learn and identify reasons why you may not understand the specification. From there, we can work together, looking at questions, concepts, tricky topics and exam techniques to help you attain your goals.
Having successfully gone through the Oxbridge admissions process, I appreciate and understand what is required and would love to aid in different aspects of the process, whether that be GCSEs/A-Levels, admissions tests (BMAT), or interviews.
I am approachable, patient and understanding and I want to provide a fun and enjoyable learning experience. I believe that good learning is based on a trusting and supportive relationship between tutor and student, and that success is rooted in this.
