About Fanny
Hello my name is Fanny!
I graduated from the Scientific Baccalaureate, European class option and engineering sciences, with honors and an overall average of 18.55/20.
After my high school, I went to preparatory classes (MPSI/MP) at the Thiers high school in Marseille, before joining the Lausanne polytechnic school in 2021.
I hold a full BAFA and am therefore used to be in contact with young people and all that that may entail and I have additional educational tools related to this training.
I also explored many ways of learning and learned a lot about the most effective learning methods.

In college and high school, for scientific subjects, the essential thing is to understand the course perfectly and to know it: not understanding what you are learning leads to build your scientific knowledge on too weak a basis to take the rest of the course. A quarter to half of a course session is therefore dedicated to it, with a quick assessment of knowledge concerning previous courses and an in-depth explanation of the most recent course using various tools such as diagrams or mental maps, to make it as visual as possible. Finally, the rest of the time is dedicated to standard exercises, and if there is still time, more complicated exercises.
The student then leaves with some homework, in particular with the mission of making his own mental map of the course seen during the session, because this is one of the most effective learning processes. Of course, I remain reachable 7 days a week for any questions from the student.
My course is therefore aimed at students of all ages and all levels, and I can modulate the difficulty as needed. Having been in preparatory school, I can also prepare final year students for the start of the school year in preparatory classes.
