I have a bacholars degree in Environmental Science, I am currently training to be a post primary school teacher (Professional Masters in Education) - I have worked in informal science education roles prior to this and have also taught English as a second language for a number of months

I like to make lessons fun and interactive, I enjoy using a variety of online tools to assist students with their learning - Kahoot quiz, mentimeter, wordwall etc.
I like to see what students already know about a topic that will then inform how I will teach the topic
Practise exams or test can be arranged to assist with knowledge retention
I also like to train students in revision techniques and provide revision posters for my students
I utilise a variety of assessment for learning (AfL) and assessment of learning (AoL) techniques
I use a variety of different strategies to help all learners reach their full potential
