About Adam
I enjoy working with students to help them build real understanding and confidence in maths. My approach is calm, supportive, and focused on what works best for each individual. I’m always happy to explain ideas in different ways and go at a pace that suits the student, whether that means revisiting core concepts or pushing ahead to more advanced material. I take tutoring seriously and care about getting results — not just in grades, but in how comfortable and capable a student feels with the subject. I know the material inside out and always come prepared, aiming to make every session genuinely helpful and clear.

I offer online Maths and Further Maths tutoring for students aged 10 to 18, covering secondary and college-level content including GCSE and A-Level. I am predicted to achieve A*A*A*A* in Further Maths, Maths, Computer Science, and Physics, beginning a Mathematics (MMath) degree at the University of Warwick. During college, I led a teaching masterclass for students from Year 6 to college, helping them tackle challenging concepts with clarity and confidence. My teaching approach is highly personalised. I use a mix of guided problem-solving, visual explanations and exam-focused strategies to ensure students build a strong foundation and make real progress. I adapt lessons to the student’s pace, filling knowledge gaps while introducing more advanced ideas when appropriate. Lesson lengths are flexible — typically 60 to 90 minutes, but longer if needed. Whether the student needs weekly support, exam preparation, or enrichment, I aim to make lessons clear, engaging, and effective.
