About Jocelyn
My name is Jocelyn, and I graduated from High School last year. In my high school years I scored a 5 on AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB/BC, and successfully took many online courses independently. I learned a lot about how to study and learn in meaningful ways that I'd love to share with other students!
I've mainly tutored high schoolers in chemistry and math, although I've also worked with elementary-school, middle-school, and a few university students.
I spent the last seven months as an English Language Assistant in a primary school in France, so I have a lot of experience working with many different kinds of people in a professional education setting.

My approach to tutoring is fundamental concept development through discussion, supported by side-by-side problem-solving. My focus is the development of real and applicable long-term skills. Basically, I'm here to boost you in whatever ways you personally need! It's not the same for everyone, and my goal is to provide personalized and personable support to students that will best help them to succeed.
My goal is to make math and science accessible for all! Different people require different explanations, which isn't always possible in a traditional learning setting. I promise you're not "just bad at math" ;D
