Howdy! My name is Lucas, and I am currently a high school student in British Columbia. I immigrated from South Korea when I was in Grade 5, and I've finished three AP courses (AP Computer Programming A, AP Calculus BC, and AP Biology) during Grade 9. I will lead students struggling in math to being one of the top of their class. Math is not about memorizing. It is about using your brain and how much you are willing and determined to solve questions. I can teach students algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus using multiple practice sheets from school textbooks. I can also prepare students for math contests like AMC, Pascal, CIMC, CSMC, Fryer, etc.
I believe long-term memory is more valuable than short-term memory, so I tend to teach students toward mastery. I can also prepare students for English provincials. I normally start the class off with a short review from the previous class, and I also prepare custom-made quizzes and tests for students to ensure their mastery of learning. Unfortunately, I only teach students up to Grade 10, so please keep that in mind.
